Please join us in welcoming some of the new staff members joining the Yorktown Middle School family this year! We're excited to introduce them to our Falcon community.
Mr. Bartley — 8th Grade Pre-Algebra
When he's not in the classroom, Mr. Bartley loves spending time with family, coaching his kids' sports teams, and staying active in both mind and body. He's most excited about building relationships with students, helping them grow in confidence, and making learning fun every day.
Mr. Belcher — 8th Grade English
A military spouse who just relocated to Virginia from Germany, Mr. Belcher is entering his fifth year of teaching. He's most looking forward to supporting our 8th grade Falcons and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment for all.
Jenn Bates — 8th Grade Para-Educator
Ms. Bates is a former NFL cheerleader for the New England Patriots and a fourth-generation runner of her family's camps in Rangeley, Maine! She's most excited to work with our team of Falcon teachers and help students reach their goals.
Welcome to the Nest — we're so glad you're all here! Stay tuned as we introduce more new staff throughout the year.
