School Improvement Plan

2024-25

Goal 1

By June 2025, 81% of Yorktown Middle School students will demonstrate mastery as measured by their performance on the Reading Standards of Learning assessments. Additionally, 80% of students will make expected growth as calculated by VVAAS. 

Goal 2

By June 2025, 80% of Yorktown Middle School students will demonstrate mastery as measured by their performance on the Mathematics Standards of Learning assessments. Additionally, 80% of students will make expected growth as calculated by VVAAS.  

Goal 3

By June 2025, 80% of Yorktown Middle School students will demonstrate mastery as measured by their performance on the Science Standards of Learning assessments.  

Goal 4

By June 2025, no more than 11% of Yorktown Middle School students will be chronically absent (missing 10% or more of the school year). 75% of students will be connected to school through at least one club, sport, or co-curricular activity.
